Recipe of the day: Pecan Nut Bread

You'll need:
2 cups unsifted coarse whole wheat flour
1 cup pastry flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups buttermilk
1 1/8 teaspoons soda
1 cup pecan nut meats, finely cut

1. To whole wheat flour add pastry flour, sugar, and salt, and baking powder.
2. When thoroughly mixed, add remaining ingredients.
3. Turn into buttered bread pan, cover, and let stand 20 minutes.
4. Bake at 325 degrees.
